Accessibility
We aim for everyone to be able to use trackdayhq.com regardless of ability.
Standard we target
This site is designed to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the same standard the U.S. Department of Justice references for compliance under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
What we do
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark roles.
- Color contrast meets or exceeds WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text).
- All form inputs have visible labels and the bot-check (Cloudflare Turnstile) supports keyboard interaction.
- The site is fully keyboard navigable — no functionality requires a mouse.
- No autoplay video, no flashing content, no time-limited interactions.
- Plain language. Short sentences. We try to write the way a registrar talks.
Known limitations
- The Cloudflare Turnstile bot challenge is a third-party widget. It supports accessibility features but its specific implementation is outside our control.
- Some emoji used decoratively (the favicon checkered flag) may not render in all assistive technologies, but they carry no information.
